ASITA HAMIDI`s BAZAAR | SWE/CH/IRAN
It was in 1996 when the Persian harpplayer and singer Asita Hamidi started her band "Bazaar“ in Switzerland. At the same time in Sweden, bassplayer Bjoern Meyer co-founded the trio "Bazar Bla“.

One year later the two met at a Bazaar concert in Zuerich and realised that the chosen bandnames were just one of many parallells. Triggered by their closely related ways to approach music, sound aesthetic and life, the wish instantly arose to work together and explore new musical worlds.

To celebrate the 10year jubilee Bazaar released their 5th CD “LIVE”.

Brandnew compositions, masterly instrumental and vocal performance, heart-melting melodies and an ambience between oriental bazaar, dreamt away togetherness and european perfectionism let listeners go into raptures.
